Your Chauffeur, By the Hour
Some days do not fit into a single pickup and drop-off. With hourly hire, the car and chauffeur stay with you — through back-to-back meetings, a multi-stop roadshow, an afternoon of appointments, or a night out where nobody wants to think about the ride home.
One car, your whole schedule
Your chauffeur waits between every stop, so there is no re-booking, no waiting for a new driver, and nowhere to leave your bags but safely in the car. Change the plan mid-day and the car changes with you — the schedule is yours, not ours.
Built for business — great for everything else
Hourly hire is the standard for investor roadshows, executive visits and client tours across Boston and Cambridge. It works just as well for wedding-day errands, campus visits, medical days and celebrations. Simple hourly billing, agreed up front.
How hourly billing works
You book a block of hours and the car and chauffeur are yours for that window. Billing starts at your first pickup and runs until your last drop-off — waiting time between stops is already included, not charged as an extra. The hourly rate and the expected block are agreed when you book, so you know the cost before the day starts rather than after it.
A typical day
A common Boston itinerary: pickup at a Back Bay hotel at 8 AM, three meetings across the Financial District and the Seaport, lunch in Cambridge, two more stops in Kendall Square, then Logan for a 6 PM flight. One vehicle, one chauffeur, one price — instead of seven separate bookings and seven chances for something to go wrong.
Beyond the boardroom
Hourly works whenever the day has more than two points on it. Wedding-party errands and photo stops. A day of college tours across Boston, Cambridge and Wellesley. Medical appointments where nobody wants to re-book a ride while still in the waiting room. Shopping on Newbury Street where the bags simply stay in the car. Nights out where the return trip is already settled.
Choosing the vehicle
A Mercedes sedan suits one to three passengers on a working day. A full-size SUV makes more sense for larger groups, luggage-heavy roadshows, or when the day includes an airport leg at either end. If your itinerary changes shape mid-booking, the chauffeur adapts — you are not paying for a route, you are paying for the time.
- Car + chauffeur dedicated to you
- Unlimited stops, zero re-booking
- Luggage and purchases stay safe in the car
- Ideal for roadshows and executive visits
- Transparent hourly billing, agreed up front
- Sedans and SUVs available
Hourly hire FAQs
Is waiting time charged separately?
No. With hourly hire the waiting is the point — your chauffeur stays with you between stops and that time is already inside the hourly rate. There are no per-stop or per-wait surcharges.
What happens if the day runs longer than booked?
Days move, and we plan for that. If you need the car beyond the booked block, tell your chauffeur and we extend at the same agreed hourly rate, subject to the vehicle being free. Nothing is re-priced mid-day.
Can I change the itinerary during the day?
Yes — that is the main reason people book hourly instead of point-to-point. Add stops, reorder them, or drop them entirely; the chauffeur adapts as you go and you are never re-booking on your phone between meetings.
Can I leave luggage or shopping in the car?
Yes. The vehicle is dedicated to you for the whole booking, so bags, cases and purchases stay locked in the car between stops rather than coming with you into every meeting or shop.
